Broker's Comments
This is a lovely blue water ketch which is ready to set sail. A change of family plans forces this sale much to the vendor's disappointment.
The vessel is in good condition. Her interior is clean and spacious with comfortable and attractive blue leather upholstery throughout.
The vendor has expended £16,000 over the last 3 months to prepare the vessel for a cruise to northern waters which he will now not be able to undertake. The list below is an incomplete list of the works done in the first half of 2015. Invoices for all the work are available for inspection:
Removed heat exchanger system & pipe work.
Removed existing exhaust.
Replaced heat exchanger system with Bowman kit.
Replaced pipe work required.
Fitted remote oil cooler & pipe work.
Drilled & hell coil studs to exhaust manifold.
Serviced engine as required.
Changed oil to gearbox.
Drained fuel tank.
Changed oil & filter to genset.
Rebuilt raw water pumps x 2.
Cleaned & prepared hull for anti fouling.
Cleaned & scraped stern gear.
Cleaned bow thruster prop & tunnel.
Cleaned all cock pit drains & seal steering pod.
Serviced sea cocks.
Applied 1 coat of anti foul to hull & 2 coats to water line.
Fitted wheels to passarelle
Cleaned engine room bilge.
Replaced anodes.
Charged bow thruster batteries.
Refitted wind generator & test.
Checked hydraulic pump to engine room.
Rewired socket to saloon.
Removed & replaced nav lights.
Removed & replaced tacho meter.
Refit bow thruster control.
Repacked water tank valve.
Fitted float switch to mid bilge pump.
Removed & replaced starter motor.
Removed & replaced starter battery.
Removed injectors & intake manifold to drain water.
Fitted new leak back pipes.
Fit new gas line from cockpit & fit 2x bottles.
Fit drain for gas locker.
Remove electric cooker & replace with gas.
Construct bunk to saloon.
Fitted new GPS.
Sails all valeted and re-stitched where required.
Brand new life raft supplied.
