Broker's Comments
The Rival 34 is a classic cruiser, with an impressive history of long-distance cruising and ocean racing.
This example benefits from a replacement engine, a good suite of sails, a new wind vane steering system, new batteries and covers with standing rigging replaced in 2014.
She has been regularly sailed by the current owner, an accomplished sailor, and ready for new adventures.
"Yachting Monthly" test comment of the Rival 34 below:
"Her high bow is designed to give good protection in the cockpit and a secure feeling on deck. She’s best to windward, when her fine entry, modest beam and attractive sheer combine to provide an easy motion and a dry ride. A Rival 34 is superb for long-distance passage-making and very steady in heavy seas and strong winds."
