Boatshed Norfolk are pleased to offer 6 very unique Riverpod 38 Houseboats in new (* see notes below) condition, for final fit out. They are for sale singularly or as a group of 6. The price shown is per unit.

The 6 available are in 3 colour options, 2 x cream, 2 x light grey and 2 x light oak finish.

These are 2021 units that were bought for a specific project which is now not going to go ahead and so the as new unused and un-launched Riverpods are to be sold off at a considerable discount.

The Pods have been stored since being delivered in a warm, dry warehouse and are as delivered from the manufacturer and effectively brand new.

They were ordered as finished, launch-able units for customer final fit-out and as such they are a blank canvas for any purchaser to fit out as they wish.

They would make great private floating homes, Airbnb or holiday rentals either afloat or mounted ashore, or possibly, to use as a commercial/marina shower/toilet blocks, ticket office floating café or coffee shop etc or any other similar or imaginative use.

The pods all have a built in 1200L waste tank fitted and a waste connection point fitted. The interior is fully battened out with quality wood and has some cable or pipe runs pre drilled for convenience.

The windows are all double glazed and the large double glazed patio sliding doors open out on to a large veranda with substantial galvanised safety railing.

Mooring cleats are fitted at the corner locations and these units are composite clad with a breathable membrane and a double skin ply construction of 38mm thickness.

The pontoons are compartmented 38foot x 750mm high quality HDPE which has a 125 year guarantee from the manufacturer and is oxygen, salt and water resistant so does not need painting or antifouling and is an effective floatation system that should never need to be removed from the water once launched for any maintenance and suffers zero corrosion.

The main construction is from galvanised U channel steel (ISON 1461) with strengthening cross members of the same material. All wood is CNC cut for a very precise engineered fit that enhances the construction and strength yet further.
