Broker's Comments
The Robertson & Caine Leopard 4500 needs no introduction: Cat of the year 1998 when launched and, in my view, still one of the best Cats if not the best ever made for many reasons, along with the 4700 which followed which is the same boat with longer swim platform.
I have personally lived and run these boats when they they were part of the The Moorings fleet. These boats were delivered on their own bottoms from Cape Town, SA to all The Moorings bases. Solid dependable and quick.
The on-deck layout is superb; it combines a huge cockpit with comfortable seating for 10 and easy handling whilst under sail. Below deck is simple but a perfectly designed layout with good saloon. the table of which drops to make a bed with interchangeable size tables, and large galley.
All 4 cabins are equal size with own heads and shower plus this example has aft Cabin AC.
These models are getting rarer to find given the age and finding them in good condition is getting harder. This example does need some improvements but has been in regular use up until May. However, she has had new engines and instruments in November 2018, now with on 1500hrs
