Joshua Slocum is justly famous for being the first man to make a solo world trip -- covering more than 46,000 miles between April, 1895, and June, 1898 -- but his yacht, the gaff-rigged ketch, Spray, is equally famous.
Since Slocum included plans for the yacht in his best-selling book Sailing Alone Around the World in 1899, hundreds of Sprays have been built in dozens of countries.

Broker's Comments
These boat details are subject to contract.
Whether you are cruising the Caribbean or sailing up the east coast this will turn heads and perform with much grace.
This boat has a very strong hull lay up and an interesting interior layout, there is an outside helm on deck and a inside helm in the wheelhouse which like the original design is a centre cockpit, the owner has maintained her throughout and it shows in the neat and tidy interior, he has had her lifted annually and his last count was lift number 46 while under his ownership, capable of some serious long distance cruising and at a great price this is a must see. Viewings highly recommended.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
