Broker's Comments
After a very successful racing career, this Frans Maas designed & built Standfast 40 was circumnavigated and then some more.
She has been repainted outside and osmosis treated 5 years ago and at the same time had her chain plates replaced. She has just had a new cabin sole, been repainted and re varnished internally, the galley has been rebuilt, she has had a complete bottom job antifouling etc / deck repainted / engine removed / gearbox reconditioned / new engine mounts fitted / engine serviced / engine bay repainted / new shaft seal & cutlass bearing fitted / yacht completely rewired / new cabin lights / new BEP Switch Panel fitted / anchor winch motor overhauled / new nav lights and a new depth sounder. New standing & running rigging 2013. New batteries 2013. New teak table in main saloon & Waeco 37 L 220 v / 12 v portable refrigerator 2014.
The main sheet traveler has at some stage been moved from in front of the helm to the coach roof, to make her large cockpit more user friendly, her owner reports that "she is a good stiff boat that sails very well"
