Broker's Comments
A few years ago, a friend of mine was preparing to achieve his ambition of sailing across the Atlantic, to start a new life in warmer climes. The boat he chose for the job was a Super Sovereign 35 sailing ketch. She looked after him on the crossing and has done so ever since. It's not a choice he regrets. This 1971 example has had a good deal of cash spent on her as part of a general refit. Of composite construction, she looks the part, with her varnished cockpit and coach-roof doors. The upholstery is still in its transparent plastic wrapping. Even if your aspirations don't run to crossing oceans, she's still a good choice for a solid and reliable vessel, and her bow thruster will help turn that long keel in the narrow confines of a marina.
