Originally produced in the USA as the Leigh 30, the Victoria 30 was designed by Chuck Paine in 1979 as a surefooted, traditional cruising yacht. Built in the UK from 1982 to the mid 1990s, they have a good turn of speed due to the relatively modern hull design, with a long keel added for directional stability. This Victoria has the added benefit of Bruntons feathering propellor, a Wind Pilots wind helm ( as new ), hot and cold pressurized water system and eberspacher heating.

This Victoria 30 has charming accommodation. She smells and looks good below decks. The wood is a very warm honey colour and the finish to the joinery looks good too. This is a traditional style vessel but will appeal to young and old. A lovely layout and perfect blend of functionality and beauty.

Broker's Comments

This superb Victoria 30 sailing yacht is a pretty double ender. A Chuck Paine classic, moulded by Northshore to Lloyds spec, and fitted out by Victoria Marine. She will have exceptionally good handling under sail. 'Yachting Monthly' commented on the design as ".... we were impressed by the speeds she attained" and ".... had the sure-footedness and easy motion that you associate with a well-shaped long-keeled yacht of medium displacement"
The accommodation is beautifully finished with the benefit of teak decking additional lockers. This vessel is well equipped and benefits from a wind vane self-steering system and a Variprop.
This boat will attract a discerning sailor but be ideal for beginners or seasoned sailors alike. She is also very cosy inside too.
