Broker's Comments
This boat combines de build quality of the Wauquiez yard with the design of the reputed naval architect Britton Chance (who’s design won an America’s Cup). The goal in those days, was to bring to market a boat that was easy to handle but fast: a true cruiser/racer. According to the original catalog, she’s able to sail upwind up to 25º of apparent wind direction. Nevertheless, she is also a boat that offers a good deal of space inside and on deck. She was designed to be steered by tiller, but a previous owner has installed a wheel in this unit, keeping the tiller base for an emergency tiller. It is clear that this boat has been well maintained (the gelcoats shines, well varnished wood, bilge very dry, etc.) If something could be improved, it is only the navigation equipment that is somewhat out dated (but still works!) Spanish flag. Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
