Broker's Comments
The Westerly Berwick needs no introduction from me!
A good solid bilge keeler in the classic Westerly tradition, these yachts have sailed all over the world and are equally popular in home waters, being especially suitable for the drying harbours of the Bristol Channel and West Wales coast. This example is clean and tidy with no sagging headlinings or oily bilges! I sold her to her present owner seven years ago, and having sailed with him in her on several occasions, I formed the opinion of a powerful and sea kindly yacht with plenty of comfortable accommodation. A new motor was fitted just over twelve months ago and since then she has had very little use, other than as a weekend 'marina cottage'. Her owner has therefore reluctantly decided to part with her as she is not getting the usage which she deserves. She is comprehensively equipped for cruising and could be launched and used right away, just as she is.
