Broker's Comments
With almost two and a half thousand Centaurs built, you can imagine that they come in all degrees of condition. A few are sparkling – many are decrepit. This is a fair example, and seems to be in good order. She is the ‘B’ layout version, with twin quarter-berths and a single lazarette locker in the cockpit. She was re-engined in 2006 and has a rather nice Taylor diesel heater to keep the cabin snug. She retains the other intrinsic virtues of the type, of course: spacious and versatile accommodation, solid construction, substantial scantlings and a sailing-ability that most agree belie her slightly utilitarian looks.
