Broker's Comments
The Westerly Centaur was the most popular British yacht ever built and it's easy to see why.
The combination of performance, economy and space is legendary, whether crewed or for solo sailing.
The current owner is reluctantly selling because of ill health, and has had little sailing in the past two years. He has however regularly maintained the vessel and engine year round.
The last survey was in 2013 and she probably needs a lift out and antifoul for the 2018 season.
She has a holding tank which opens up continental waterways for exploration.
This seems an ideal starter yacht as well as for someone looking to downsize from a bigger boat.
