Broker's Comments
The Westerly Centaur needs little introduction. Most things have already been said about the Centaur but for those who don't know, she was the most popular design ever built in this country with 2448 being built between 1969, when they were launched at the London Boatshow to 1981 when production finished.
She ticks all the boxes, sails well, is robustly built, can handle the most adverse weather conditions and is easy to sail. This one has all the lines led back to the cockpit so you don't need to go forward to reef and with her bilge keels she can dry out for cheaper moorings, on sandy beaches and dry harbours.
She sleeps 5 with an ample sized double cabin forward with twin berths which can be converted to a double and 3 single berths in the main cabin. There is a good sized heads and the cockpit is plenty big enough for all the family.
This example has had a lot of monies spent on her. She has had new sails and rigging in the last 4 years and has been well looked after by a caring owner.
If you are in the market for a good Centaur this one is looking for a loving owner.
