Broker's Comments
The Westerly Centaur was designed to maximize space and enjoyment for her crew, the boat benefits from deep, spacious cockpit and high coach roof design lending to exceptional cabin space for her 26 feet.
Although an older design there is plenty to like about the Centaur. These boats enjoy a great reputation, clearly indicated by the over 2,500 models made. Comfortable coastal cruisers with the ability to make longer passages, the appeal lies with specious, practical and safe layout, sea kindly handling and bilge keel allowing access to drying ports.
Sadly this one has seen a period of inactivity and requires some attention to bring back to fully functional state. The rigging and sails, although old are functional. The interior fittings and furnishings are dated but useable. The navigational aids are outdated and need upgrading. The engine was replaced in the mid 2000's but also requires some attention.
If you're looking for a Centaur to work on and bring back to good heart this is it.
