Broker's Comments
The Westerly Falcon, like her sister vessel the Westerly Seahawk, was designed with long distance and luxury in mind. With improved performance and acres of room, it is ideal for long term family sailing and living aboard.
This example has the reefing lines leading aft to a deep, safe cockpit. The helm position has the benefit of wheel steering, auto helm, a large chart plotter and steering compass. New standing rigging is to be fitted in August 2020.
The decks are easy to move around, this example has a useful ‘A frame’ added at the stern for mounting solar panels and acting as a davits system for the tender without increasing LOAs for marina costs.
The accommodation is light, airy & spacious with plenty of integrated storage. The headroom is excellent (6’2"), plus the head-linings and upholstery appear to be good throughout. There are plenty of berths, 8 at a push, including three doubles and two singles (one is a pipe berth in the saloon). There are two heads compartments both with sinks and showers, a forward facing Nav station and the galley has a full cooker, a double sink and a good sized fridge. Cabin heating is provided with h/c water throughout.
A very capable, comfortable and well equipped yacht.
