Broker's Comments
This is a very neat and tidy example of the Westerly Fulmar, a fast cruiser designed by Ed Dubois. Over 400 of these performance yachts were built and had been used for match racing and performance training in their time.
Although a she is a performance cruiser she all the trade mark Westerly comforts, full height saloon, galley and heads, giving her the feel of a larger boat. She sleeps 7 comfortably with the under cockpit double currently used for storage.
She has a large cockpit with removable table for socialising at anchor or in harbour and will keep you safe while sailing. The sail locker includes a main sail with lazy jacks and sail trainer (2019), genoa (2017) with new roller reefing in 2017, and cruising chute with snuffer. All making her easy to handle under sail.
She comes with all the standard electronics, log, wind depth, VHF DSC, GPS all in working order.
The grey spay hood and main sail cover are practically new being replaced in 2019.
She has been meticulously maintained and appears to be in fabulous condition that must be seen. This is a boat that has clearly been looked after and is ready for the next owner to step aboard and go.
