Broker's Comments
The Fulmar 32 was the first boat designed by Ed Dubois for Westerly. Quicker and sportier than the previous Westerly 30 and 31, the Fulmar quickly built a reputation for being a first-class heavy weather boat.
Despite the extra performance, the Fulmar also offered more accommodation than the 31-footers that it effectively replaced, notably in the fore cabin and heads areas. The saloon also benefitted from the new boat’s significantly wider beam. More than 400 Fulmars were built, with both fin and twin keels.
This twin keel variant has had the benefit of being in the same ownership for the last 12 years and has had a recently installed new 30 hp Beta engine with 350 hours use
She has been standing for 18 months and would benefit from some minor cosmetics before her return to the water
