Broker's Comments
The Westerly Griffon has good accommodation and headroom below deck and a deep safe cockpit; perfect for family cruising.
This one has a new Beta 20 Diesel Engine fitted in 2013 and it has completed less than 20 hours running time; and the standing rigging was new in 2010 eliminating another expense often required when buying a new boat. The hull topsides are original gelcoat and look good so most of the key items are in place for this to be a great buy.
On the minus side the headlinings are poor, a very common issue with older Westerly’s, and the upholstery is a bit tired. The sails are not new but the owner considers them to be perfectly OK to use.
So new engine and all its ancillary fittings more than outweigh the droopy headlinings don’t you think?
