Broker's Comments
When I first started sailing, rather more than a few years ago, the Westerly Konsort was pretty much the boat I aspired to own. I recall being impressed by how solid and reassuring a boat less than 30’ long could be, and how roomy and comfortable it seemed below decks. Even now, time has not diminished those fond feelings. The enviable virtues are still present – the decks are wide and the boat feels weighty and solid underfoot. Inside there are comfortable bunks and a good split between accommodation and storage. The Konsort was Westerly’s second most popular boat, after the Centaur, and it’s easy to see why. The trick these days is to find a nice example, and here I think we have a good one. It’s clear that she has been sailed regularly and maintained carefully, and everything seems to be set up just right. Those fond memories keep coming back!
