Broker's Comments
The fin keeled version of the redoubtable Westerly 31, these boats rightly seem to go on forever! Lacking perhaps the walk around double berths, multiple hot water Jacuzzi's and on board night clubs which modern yacht buyers seem to expect, they nevertheless are competent offshore and coastal cruising yachts which in the right hands will safely cross oceans. Among the Westerly 31 offerings the Longbow is the one to have if it's sailing ability you're after.
This example has much new equipment fitted in 2016- motor, instruments, Eberspacher etc. Headlinings, always a Westerly question, are ok'ish in the main saloon, perfect however in the fore cabin. Elsewhere she is in above average order and with the benefit of a brand new motor she is keenly priced and ready to sail immediately! STOP PRESS - that phrase 'keenly priced' was written in January when we listed her. Her owners are now VERY keen that she must go, having now acquired their new yacht; hence the bargain asking price!
