Owners comments:
Purchased in 2014, this classic Westerly Longbow has been steadily improved. The vessel has done 2 transatlantic crossings in the past. It has been entered in Round the Island race for last 5 years – best place was top 20% but is normally only used for cruising round solent. This is a very dry boat and has a deep cockpit. Main halyards are run back to the cockpit.
I have had a lot of fun with this boat – the 31ft length lets me cover the ground at 5 knots easily either under sail or on the engine.
I have now got to the point I can turn up and go sailing on her – and so am now ready to take on a bigger boat.
These boat details are subject to contract.
