Broker's Comments
Designed by Ed Dubois and built to have the edge over the popular Konsorts, both in performance and accommodation layout, the Westerly Merlin, although slightly smaller in length and beam, has a modern feel to it, looks good and is practical too.
This fin keeled example has all the control lines leading aft to a deep and generous cockpit, the non slip deck is easy to move around and the sail cover and spray hood have been recently renewed.
The accommodation benefits from both a fore and aft cabin, a separate heads compartment, a nav table complete with a Yeoman chart plotter (for those of us who still like to see a paper chart), a handy hanging locker, a saloon table to seat six and a full cooker with decent size galley for a vessel of this size.
Built to Lloyds high standards, this easy to sail cruiser is set up for single handed sailing and would be ideal for a couple or small family.
