Broker's Comments
This Westerly Merlin 29 is one of the later Merlin's with the sugar scoop transom. It has clearly been well maintained and the hull and decks look in good order as does the clean and well presented interior.
Recent upgrades include new standing and running rigging in 2014, a new main sails with stack pack and lazy jacks also in 2014. Lines have all been led aft to the cockpit allowing reefing without having to leave the cockpit. A new cooker was installed in 2015. The engine is professionally laid up and then recommissioned each autumn and spring. This is a very nice example of the later Merlin 29 well worth serious consideration.
