Broker's Comments
This is a special edition Merlin with fin keel and sugar scoop stern and very nicely presented she is. She was last out of the water in July 2019.
I was struck by the intelligent use of space in this latter day Westerly: double aft cabin (7 berths in all), good chart table and practical galley which includes a spacious 240v/12v fridge.
All soft furnishings appeared clean and unmarked.
Her owner, a marine professional, has installed a shore power ring main as well as a couple of other handy refinements.
Her Volvo engine started from cold immediately and purred. The roller furler, foresail and mainsails appear in good condition.
Frankly, all I would do, could do, to improve this Merlin is magic up a couple of brand new navigation instruments and a windlass for easier anchoring.
