Broker's Comments
The X-Yachts X95 was a successful half ton IOR boat first produced in the early 1980’s. This example was built in 1984 but only sailed for 8 years before being laid up ashore until the the previous owner to now bought hjer and only used her lightly. The current owners bought her in 2015. Since then they have extensively updated the instruments, adding chart plotter, GPS and AIS, as well as a modern DSC Radio. The interior is spartan yet functional with 8 berths and large saloon table. She has had upholstery replaced on most cushions. This would suit someone looking a competitive race boat race with the option to be boat a fast cruising yacht. The owner thinks this X-95 would be eligible for and will need little or no work to enter the half ton cup to be held in Cowes next summer in which she will qualify as a production boat.
