Broker's Comments
Fresh Antifouling & all New Bronze thru hulls installed 8.2020. A fine example drawn from the renouned Robert Perry drafting table, the Baba 35 Cutter Sloop is one of the many fine yachts built at the Ta Shing shipyard in Taiwan; the Ta Shing Yacht Building Company dates back to 1947, building fishing boats and small commercial craft. In the 1960's the yard became involved in building sailing yachts.
This is one of the later models of the total 72 Baba 35's built. The current owners are the third who purchased the vessel in Florida & sailed across the Gulf to the Texas coast where they have since enjoyed day sailing & coastal cruising the boat.
With more than adequate sail area a cutter rig and full keel the boat handles & performs well in large seas or equally in light airs . The boat has a custom sun shade/ canopy that covers the entire coach roof forward to the foredeck & aft to the dodger also a cockpit enclosure for cruising in the cooler latitudes s equipped with solar panels for extended off shore sailing or coastal cruising. These boat details are subject to contract.
Note: Offers on the asking price may be considered.
