Broker's Comments

The sought after Hunter Cherubini 37 Cutter Sloop has been a popular boat in the below 40 ft cruiser range since the late 70's.
The Hunter Cherubini 37 Cutter began production in June 1978 by Warren Luhrs to the world famous John Cherubini design has over the years had very few changes to the hull although when Luhrs moved their production facility from New Jersey in the early 80's to Ocala, Florida some retooling was made at the new yard & later deck hardware improvements & modifications to the mainsheet traveller relocated from the cabin coach roof to the cockpit just aft of companionway. Also the Yanmar 2QM was replaced with a larger 3QM 30 hp diesel.
In addition roller furling was added to the genoa formally a traditional hank on earlier models & found to be a very popular.
On the interior floor plan extra attention to detail was given to the carpentry & joinery of the boat one nice feature I observed when initially viewing the boat was the sliding pocket door to the aft pilot berth cabin a practical use of space where there would of otherwise been a conventional hung cabin door. Production of the Hunter Cherubini 37 Cutters ended around 1984/5 although the Cherubini design are still very much sought after and still grace many docks & marinas to this day. These boat details are subject to contract.
